1. Overview
ManaInvite (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our platform at manainvite.com and related subdomains.
By using ManaInvite, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy is governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, applicable in India.
2. What We Collect

3. How We Use Your Data
We use your information only for the following purposes:
- To create and operate your account and invitation websites
- To process payments and send receipts
- To send transactional emails (confirmations, RSVP notifications) via AWS SES
- To provide customer support
- To improve our platform based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.
6. Third-Party Services
Your invitation site may include features powered by third parties. When enabled:
- Google Maps embed — for venue directions. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Live video streaming — if you use a third-party stream link. Governed by that provider's policy.
- Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google servers. Governed by Google's policy.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services you choose to integrate.
7. Your Guests' Data
When guests submit RSVPs through your invitation site, you become the data controller for that information — we act as a data processor on your behalf.
As the event host, you are responsible for:
- Informing your guests that their RSVP data will be collected
- Using guest data only for managing your event
- Not using guest contact details for commercial marketing
- Handling guest data in accordance with applicable law
We securely store RSVP data in your dashboard. It is deleted along with your site data when you close your account or after the retention period ends.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for the following periods:
- Active account: Data retained while your account is active
- Site content & RSVPs: 90 days after your hosting period expires
- Account after closure: Deleted within 30 days of your request
- Payment records: 7 years (legal and tax compliance)
- Usage logs: 90 days in anonymised form

9. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

10. Children's Privacy
ManaInvite is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
11. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email and by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of ManaInvite after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
